There are 3 things that I have learned about Christian during his first year.
1. He is not interested in doing something he doesn't want to do no matter how much you want him to do it. This became most apparent in teaching him his baby sign language.
2. He loves music.
3. He loves even more to dance to said music.
In order to combat #1, I enlisted our whole family to combine #2 and #3 to teach Christian the sign for "all done." Which, if you are unfamiliar, it is shaking your hands above your head. Here is what we came up with...

Your kids are beautiful! This is so funny! My oldest never learned the sign language, even though I tried. The twins learned more and all done, but it took Elliott a few months longer to catch on than Lillie.
It was so good meeting you guys last week. Look forward to following you on your blog!
Have a wonderful year!
I don't know which kid to smile at more. They are all so cute.
So adorable!! All three of mine sign, and the baby is finally taking off with it! So helpful and cute at the same time!
Squeals from our family. This is our favorite thing to talk about and imitate right now. I'm so glad you video taped it!
preciousness!
Brilliant idea! That is a super cute crew - such sweet expressions on all their faces.
Great idea! They are all so cute! I might need to borrow Joshua and Andi sometime...maybe they can teach Abigail to say (or sing!) "please" and "thank you"!
Your children are so precious! I look forward to seeing them at Community Group once again.
