Tonight we visited a great place called Angel Heart Farm. Tracy, the founder, is a cancer survivor, and now keeps her farm as a place where kids can come for a great time. She regularly invites patients from the Children's Hospital out for burgers, hot dogs, and ponies. Above these special nights, kids like Joshua are welcome out there all week long to ride. We had a great time and Joshua got a roping and riding lesson on Katarina the Horse (I would have preferred for him to ride Rocky the Horse, but whatever.)
After this week's appointment, Joshua had an emotional and tiring weekend of steroid and chemo recovery. We rejoice in the victory of being in remission, but remember that we have a long road still ahead of us. 23 more monthly appointments that include steroids, chemo, and a touch of anxiety about what the counts will look like this time. People like Tracy and places like Angel Heart Farm help us get through these long weekends. It was certainly good to be with other families that, like us, are enjoying life at this stage of treatment.

Y'all are such a "Job" family. Satan tried and will continue trying to bring y'all down, but as Job did, you stand strong in the Lord. He is so pleased and as I have begun my adventure into marraige and new life I only hope and pray that my family and my home will be one of such undying and unswerving faith, such as yours. Thank you guys for being such an example for so many of true followers of Christ. blessings!

Jana, Michael,Joshua, and Andi, I have not received any of the last two blogs; however I can go into the last one and bring up any new ones. I truly enjoyed Joshua's horse ride picture, the news about vegetables, and Andi's smile. My new email is parker331@suddenlink.net; not sure if you knew that or if it works.
So very sad and sorry about Charlie. I don't think I lost a friend my age until highschool and it was so terrible. This is too unfair.
Jana, I look forward to our times together. I love all of you dearly.
