Chili's Again This Year

Once again this year, Chili's will donate 100% of its proceeds to St. Jude's Research Hospital. The big day is September 28th. While this is not the hospital that treated Joshua, it is the place where his treatment plan was developed. And in light of the fact that in just a few short months, we will, by God's grace, be able to hear Joshua declared cured, I'd say St. Jude has done a fine job. So, I will be nudging Michael once again to go out-to-eat that night and I hope to see you all there. If you go, make a Chili in Joshua's honor. Or go here and make one from home. Happy eating!

Also, if you happened to miss Michael's latest post about Andi, make sure you read about our clever girl here. Hilarious!

I just informed Jay that we're eating out on the 28th. :)
And I read the post Michael made about Andi. Hilarious. I love those kinds of moments with kids.

Jana,

I just came across the link to your blog and got caught up on Joshua's progress. It's the first time that I've been on in quite a while, and I'm so thrilled to hear how well he is doing! Andi is precious, and I can't believe that the last time I saw you you were pregnant with her! Congratulations on the upcoming birth of your third child! I can't wait to share the news with Peyton. It's hard to believe that it's been three years, but Peyton is in 7th grade now.......too hard to believe! Have fun with the baseball! Those little league years go by so fast, and the next thing you know they're in high school! My oldest plays for Page High, and loves it. Baseball is pretty much our life!

Just wanted you to know how happy I am for you guys, and that I'm thinking about you and continuing to pray! Take care, and God Bless!
Terri Kimbel and Peyton too!

In other words, "I love you. We are going to color you a super hero on a chili. I hope you have fun with your toys. I think you have fun at your house. And I love you.

Love, Josiah"

Amber and I ate at Chili's tonight and we colored a pepper in honor of Joshua! It sure was good and knowing that it helps fight childhood cancer makes it all the better!
