Pre-K and Baseball

Joshua's first day of Pre-K was this week. He loves it. Along with him, Andi went back to her Mother's Day Out program and loved it just the same. In the end though, school is small potatoes compared to hugeness of baseball in our lives right now.

After 2 weeks of 2 hour practices (read more about that from Michael here and here), we were apprehensive for the first game. I think Michael threw up 3 or 4 times before lunch.

But we had a glorious first game. It was everything you could ask for from a little league game. The boys were all so excited with their sharp looking uniforms and eye black, provided by the coach. It was a beautiful night with cheers for every player that came to the plate. I guess the two hour practices paid off because all 13 players hit the ball. It was spectacular! We were especially proud of Joshua for hitting the ball, running like crazy, and trying to sneak his way over to second base (sadly getting thrown out). Even bigger news though is that Joshua received tonight's game ball from the coach. It was a very proud moment for Joshua and for us.

Andi's pants are adorable on her. I think she'd be my favorite in MDO. :)
And the last picture of Joshua with his game ball is great! Yay!

He looks like a stud! Wish I could see him play.

Truly adorable those pictures of Andi and Joshua all ready for school. Brings back lots of memories for me. And a ball player you do have in your house. So glad he got the game ball; what a treasure. Love you guys so much. Mom and NANA
