Jana's Stones

Recently, my beautiful and articulate wife had the opportunity to share a little bit about our journey with leukemia at the Bible study she attends on Fridays. She based her talk on the idea that God expects us to set up "stones" in our lives, just as the Israelites did, as reminders of the faithfulness of the Lord. I want to encourage you to follow this link and take a listen.

Bring a tissue.

A tissue? Just one tissue? I needed an entire box. Jana, you did so amazing! I'm so sorry I missed it, but I'm so thankful I got to hear it.
Your words were powerful & spirit-filled.

Jana, I listened to your testimony and even though my hard times are very different than yours, I was so blessed to be encouraged by your story. I am going to work on stacking up my own stones today. You are so right. Even right in the middle of feeling alone and brokenhearted, I can see amazing ways that the Lord has blessed us and provided for our every need. There have been many days that God has had to fight for me instead of with me. I am so thankful for a God who is at battle on our behalf. You are precious. Thank you for being bold enough to share and help others. Blessings to your sweet family.

i mean...unless you are dying to see a crazy old man's monument to society in the form of caddy's buried in an old wheat field...then...i wouldn't bother. but it IS fun to spray paint other people's property. i see why the taggers like it so much!
