When Joshua was diagnosed in October of 2006, being pregnant seemed to be so difficult. But as the months wore on, God carefully revealed to me his hope as we awaited your arrival. For the last 2 years, you have been an amazing joy to each of us. As your words become more and more clear, I can see God molding you into a compassionate and caring daughter, sister and friend. I don't think it is by accident that you are the first to hug Joshua after a long day at the clinic or that you are the first to curl her lip with me when I start to tear up. Your tenderness and joy is infectious.
We are excited to see all that God has in store for your next year. We will continue to pray as your life verse says, "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." Romans 15:13
