Confession time - 2 things you need to know about me that are important for this post. One, I am very interested in weather. Maybe it came from growing up in West Texas, the heart of tornado alley, but I will sit and watch the doppler radar with the best of them. I'm one step away from Bill Paxton in Twister. Thing 2 - I am a really big fan of The Office.
Hence I was torn last night when the new episode was disrupted at 8:26 by a weather broadcast of tornadic activity and the infamous hook echo. I don't want anybody to get blown away because they don't know that a tornado might or might not be heading their way. At the same time, I need to know if Michael filed domestic abuse charges against Jan. Can anybody help a brother out? The last thing I saw was Dwight urging Michael to come home with him for the evening.

NBC.com used to post the episodes for the week after they aired. also, the new video site, hulu.com, has almost all the nbc shows on their site. i would try there.
Thanks for the advice - have to check out hulu, maybe not from work lest I get disciplined...
The Platt Family was more than a bit upset when channel 4 interrupted the end of The Office last night.

Michael asked Jim if he could go home with him, but Jim said his apartment was flooded.
Dwight takes Michael home, Michael falls asleep in the car and on their way home they pass Dwight's "date" waiting at the bus stop.
Then they showed Jim and Pam eating hamburgers in their car parked outside a burger joint. Jim said something like, "Babe look what I picked up at Michael and Jan's". (Throughout the scene Pam and Jim kept calling each other Babe) Jim shows Pam the CD that Hunter made and they listened to it and laughed while they were eating their food.
That was about it.
Sweet action. Hunter is an artist.
I'm eagerly awaiting the episode appearing online. It seems that's the only way I get to watch anything these days! :-)
I thought the visuals might add a special touch.
I would just like to say that one particular sentence made me do a double take... even though I knew it was really about the office.
"When I said that I wanted to have kids and you said that you wanted me to have a vasectomy, what did I do? And then, when you said that you might want to have kids and I wasn't so sure? Who had the vasectomy reversed? And then when you said you definitely didn't wanna have kids? Who had is reversed back! Snip snap snip snap snip snap! I did! You have no idea the physical toll that three vasectomies have on a person. And I bought the condo, to fill will children!"
Priceless.
I watched the episode on NBC.com on friday. It should be up.
Oh man. I was so mad. Couldn't they warn people during the commercial? What's a couple of minutes? O.k. Maybe I'm being shallow...but I had been waiting months!
I'm gonna catch up online.
