Giving In

After months of shopping, we gave in and bought a mini-van. A few weeks ago we went to test drive a Sequoia and this Odessey.

We settled on the Odyssey, and bought it on Wednesday. I know, I know - certainly not the cooler option. And just to be honest, we bought the minivan mainly out of laziness. The minivan allows you to do dramatically less parenting - doors open and close automatically, DVD player, headphones - perfect.

We have an Odyssey, too, and I say Embrace your Mom-ride. The automatic doors are SO helpful, especially when you the baby comes.

Wait, does being a parent mean I have to start opening doors? Blast!!!

I am so jealous!! I want one!! It feels like we would officially enter the grown up category with the minivan, but oh well, I am with Miriam. Embrace it!! I grew up with a station wagon and swore I would never drive one. If you ever need a ride in my subaru wagon, you let me know. Mine is white and oh' so sweet...I have learned to never say never. hope you are well!!

welcome to the club!! I have to say I wasn't too thrilled to buy one, but it is convenient. Just trick it out and make it your own:)

Yay for mini-vans! Don't worry - you're not too dorky yet. I'll let you know if you cross the line. Just don't go for the mom jeans. Not a good look.
